Have for sale a certified, one of a kind, wet, high winged, low time, Cessna aircraft, that has only 90 hours on a new $40 thousand engine that is a 210HP, IO-360, fuel injected, continental with a constant speed propeller, all on solid, no damage, no leaks, flat top Aqua 2400 floats with hatches, No corrosion, as aircraft was always on the prairies. Great performer on wheels or floats. Completed annual with all AD's in June 2017. Total time on airframe is 2665 hours. Total time since engine total overhaul and zeroed is 90 hours. Total time on constant speed propeller overhaul is 20 hours. New 406 ELT installed complete with in dash test-alarm switch. Has older radios and transponder but all work fine. Never have to worry about carb ice or fuel bladder leaks. Have wheels with pants and back seat in storage. In 2000, I read a book about all the different aircraft Cessna had built and saw that Cessna had built a great trainer aircraft that was basically a souped up 172. They sold it as a trainer to military all around the world. It had a 172/175 airframe and they had put in a continental IO-360 engine and a constant speed prop. It was called the Cessna T-41B Mescalero. I went and talked to my AME and asked if he could build one and so for the last 17 years have been enjoying this great performing aircraft, but now due to advancing age and medical reasons must sell. If you want to see the performance statistics, Google the Mescalero or the French built Cessna Reims Rocket, FR 172, which was built by Cessna's French arm but uses the same engine.Asking $75,000.00 US.
