Aero Trader strives to create a lighthearted community for all aviation enthusiasts. This is a place where anyone passionate about airplanes, helicopters, or other aircraft can feel welcome. Just as pilots have respect for each other when they share the skies, we ask that all AeroTrader.com users have the same level of respect online.
Tips for Avoiding Turbulence:Much like the FAA, AeroTrader.com has a few rules and expectations for its community members. AeroTrader.com embraces a vast and wide-ranging community and we’d like you to follow these basic guidelines and treat everyone with respect. Here are a few topics to avoid that will help you cruise our site at a safe altitude:
Sex and Nudity
Nudity is not allowed, particularly if it is in a sexual context. Generally, if a video is intended to be sexually provocative, it is not acceptable on AeroTrader.com.
Hate speech refers to content that promotes hatred against a group or person for any reason or on any basis, including (among other things) race, ethnicity, religion, sexual identity, gender identity, disability or nationality. Hate speech has no place in our aviation community and will not be tolerated on AeroTrader.com.
Shocking and Disgusting
In aviation, it’s not uncommon to come across potentially dangerous situations, and sometimes people do get hurt. However, it’s not appropriate to post violent or gory content on AeroTrader.com. Nothing on our site needs to be shocking, sensational, or disrespect
Dangerous or Illegal Acts
AeroTrader.com does not allow any content that is intended to incite violence or encourage dangerous illegal activities. Furthermore, AeroTrader.com prohibits all content that depicts or otherwise provokes illegal activities such as mistreatment of animals, drug use and abuse, underage drinking and smoking, and reckless / dangerous operation of any motor vehicles.
Videos involving children (anyone under the age of 18) are particularly sensitive. Please be cautious when posting something involving a child. Videos containing children should never be sexually suggestive or violent, or otherwise inappropriate for minors. Be advised that we work closely with law enforcement and will report child exploitation of any type or nature.
As a creative community, it is essential that everyone on AeroTrader.com respects the copyrights and other ownership rights of others. If you are not sure if something will violate someone's copyright, the safest thing to do is to create something completely original. If it's entirely your creation, you never have to worry about copyright infringement or other legal issues because you own the subject matter. If you’ve recorded something from your TV screen, or downloaded a video or music track online, don’t post it unless you have permission. Read ourCopyright Tips for more information.
Accounts are penalized for violating our Community Guidelines and serious or repeated violations can lead to account termination. If your account is terminated, you will not be allowed to create any new accounts.
